New iMac on tap for fall?
Apple dealers say a new iMac is in the works, though the manufacturer hasn't confirmed the rumor.
Some Mac retailers say they expect to begin sales of a new, upgraded version of the iMac sometime in September.
One dealer said the new iMacs will feature a faster processor and more software, but the same 15" monitor as current models.
The popular iMac has already undergone three revisions since it debuted nearly a year ago with a 233MHz processor, running Mac OS 8.1.
