New iMac G5 includes Tiger and built-in wireless
Apple unveiled a refreshed iMac G5 line using PowerPC G5 processors up to 2.0 GHz. The new computers also received feature updates with MacOS X 10.4 Tiger, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, 8x DL DVD burners, built-in Gigabit Ethernet, 512 MByte system memory and iLife ’05 software.
The devices can be ordered with 1.8 GHz or 2.0 Ghz processors and 17" or 20" LCDs. Pricing starts at $1300 for the 17" model and at $1800 for the 20" version. (THG)
