New display to make Internet books easy reading
Toshiba and Microsoft will jointly develop high resolution LCDs for portable electronic devices that can download books from the Internet.
The new TFT display will support the same image quality achieved by digital photography and will aim to optimize Microsoft's ClearType technology for displaying text, the companies said.
