New Bundled Offering for Home Networking and Internet Access Devices
U.S. Robotics and Symantec, are providing Internet users with the security that protects them from online viruses, hackers and privacy threats. U.S. Robotics will bundle either Symantec's Norton Personal Firewall 2003 or Symantec's Norton Internet Security 2003 software with select U.S. Robotics analog, DSL and home networking devices.
For customers of select U.S. Robotics products in North America, Symantec's Norton Internet Security 2003 will be bundled with their analog, DSL and home networking devices. U.S. Robotics customers will receive a 30-day subscription service from Symantec that will deliver regular updates to firewall rules, intrusion detection signatures and other security updates. Users may purchase a one-year subscription renewal after the expiration of the initial subscription period or they may purchase an upgrade to their existing product.
