The application is based on a peer-to-peer file transfer engine that works through firewalls, proxy servers and within VPN intranets, with static or dynamic client IP addressing, and with all printers, even those without IPP connections. The "Vanguard Version" is available now as a free download , but the upgrade to the released version will have a $49.95 annual license fee for unlimited sending of documents to be printed. Net2Printer recipient software will remain free-of-charge. An introductory price of $39.95 for the Print2Anywhere software is being offered to "Vanguard Version" downloaders.
