Acer unveils new Gemstone consumer notebooks
Acer on May 3 introduced a new design for its Aspire consumer notebook lineup. The company aims to boost shipments of consumer-use notebooks to 10 million units in 2008, and raise the portion of consumer models to its total notebook shipments to 40% from the current 30%, company chairman JT Wang said at a product presentation.
