Netscape 6.01 less buggy
AOL Time Warner has quietly put its newest version of Netscape 6.0 on the Netscape FTP server. The original release was criticized for containing numerous bugs which are, reportedly, addressed in version 6.01. Currently, Microsoft's Internet Explorer has, according to some researchers, approximately 90 percent of the browser market. Netscape could, in fact, face competition from Netscape's open-source browser project, Mozilla.org, though its product has been slow in coming. The new Netscape browser contains more content links than ever before, as does the beta of Internet Explorer 6.0 leaked last week.
