Netgear ships draft 802.11n-compliant wireless-enabled ADSL2+ modem router
Netgear announced that it is now shipping what it claims is the world’s first wireless-enabled ADSL2+ modem router based on the new draft 802.11n specification. The RangeMax NEXT Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router (DG834N) aggregates five products into one, combining the benefits of an ADSL 2+ modem, router, four-port 10/100 switch, and a SPI double firewall with Netgear’s draft 11n-compliant RangeMax NEXT wireless LAN technology to deliver the fastest data throughput speeds and furthest ranges available in the industry, according to the company.
