Neo Geo system to make online debut
SNK will begin selling the Neo Geo Pocket Color, a handheld game system, in the United States beginning in April. Approximately 10 software titles will be available at that time, with another 15 titles expected to be released throughout the next few months.
The Neo Geo Pocket Color screen, a TFT-format LCD, has a 2.6 inch diagonal game window, with a palette of 4,096 colors and the ability to display 146 colors simultaneously. Two AA batteries can support about 40 hours of continuous play.
SNK plans to sell the game system from its web site at www.snkusa.com for a price of $79.99.
