NEC to sample high-brightness 12.1" LCD module

NEC LCD Technologies recently announced that it will begin shipping samples of its new 12.1" super video graphics array (SVGA) TFT-LCD module. The new LCD enables the display of vivid colors, even in environments with high ambient light, such as outdoors in sunny weather or indoors in direct sunlight.
