Nanya Technology is observing buoyant PC OEM demand for DDR2 memory and the company expects the DDR2 shortage to increase to 30-40% in February, with related contract pricing continuing its rise, according to company president Jih Lien. Nanya also plans to start construction on its first 12" fab in March, Lien said.
