PND-use Display Shipments To Top 60 Million Units In 2010, Says ISuppli
Small- to medium-size display shipments to the PND segment are expected to almost double to 60.2 million units in 2010 from 30.6 million in 2007, thanks to declining prices for displays, rising demand, and increased capacity, according to iSuppli. By 2012, unit shipments of PND-use displays will grow to 68 million units, recording a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 17.3% from 2007, the research firm said, adding shipments will reach 45 million units in 2008.
