Napster and RIAA back in court

Though a quick decision is not likely, Napster and the Recording Industry Association of America will be arguing their respective positions again today in San Francisco's Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Specifically, the debate will cover the merits of the original injunction against the Napster site. The results of this case should have far-reaching effects on the future of P2P, file-sharing and the way content is delivered over the Web. It is also interesting because, with few exceptions, the powerful tech and entertainment industries have lined up against one another on this issue.
