Nanya considering NAND flash production
Following rival Powerchip Semiconductor Corporation (PSC)’s aggressive deployment of foundry services for NAND flash production, Nanya Technology indicated that it is also considering to offer foundry services for NAND flash production, according to company president Jih Lien during the March 15 ground breaking ceremony at its 12" fab. Lien indicated that the company has started coordinating with industry players to pave the way for its transition to the NAND flash sector.
