Nanya: DDR shortage to continue for two months
The DDR shortage is likely to stretch on for another two months, as difficulties in upgrading production processes limit supply and demand for DDR shoots past SDRAM demand, stated Nanya Technology executive vice president Charles Kau. Currently, Nanya's 256Mbit SDRAM inventory is at close to two weeks' worth, but its DDR inventory is practically nonexistent, he said.
