Samsung Continues To Lead In NAND Flash Market

Samsung Electronics sold $12.85 billion worth of NAND flash in the first quarter 2008, down 18.7% from the fourth quarter of 2007, according to data compiled by DRAMeXchange. Although Samsung maintained its lead in the segment, the company saw its global market share by revenues decline to 39.6% in the first quarter, down from 41% in the previous quarter, DRAMeXchange observed.
