The recent stability of NAND flash contract prices was short-lived since the latest quotes show that the price of high-density chips (4 Gbit and above) dropped over 20% in January. The sharpest fall was seen in high-density chips based on both single-level cell (SLC) and multi-level cell (MLC) architectures.
