Namco offers Ms. PacMan for iPods
Namco is bringing Ms. PacMan, an arcade classic, to the iPod. In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the dot-gobbling princess, the company is offering the game as an iTunes purchase. The game will play on fifth generation iPods and will have four maze designs along with 256 levels.
Game companies are increasingly releasing simple games for the iPod because of its huge user base. Several dozen games, both free and paid, are available on various sites, including the iTunes store.
Back in September 2006, Namco released Pac-man for the iPod. Ms. Pac-Man originally hit arcades back in 1982.
Ms. Pac-Man is being offered for $5 on iTunes.
