MySpace spat turns into real-life fight
Fort Lauderdale (FL) – An online argument on MySpace turned into a real-life battle at a Florida high school. A 15-year-old girl has been arrested after she pepper sprayed four other students at William Dandy Middle School in Fort Lauderdale. Police also found an 8-inch kitchen knife in the girl’s backpack.
The girl had started arguing online with another student over the summer and tensions boiled over when they met each other in person. According to the Sun Sentinel, one of the girls used pepper spray after other students tried to break up the argument.
The girl faces two felonies and one misdemeanor and has been put on a three-day suspension.
