MySpace launches movie preview portal
Santa Monica (CA) - MySpace has launched a movie preview portal site that will offer trailer clips. MySpace’s "Trailer Park" will offer video clips three to six months before the film’s release.
Trailer Park is a result of MySpace’s partnership with Lionsgate. The first preview clip will be from "Good Luck Chuck" starring Dane Cook and Jessica Alba. That film will be released on August 24th. Many of the other upcoming previews will be of second and third-tier films.
The portal competes with other movie preview sites including Quicktime which has offered high-definition preview clips for a few years.
