Overall, we were a little let down by our StikAx experience. The overall flow of the software was a little awkward, and many features were lacking. There were times when using the built in EQ that we heard strange squelches, and other times when design flaws decreased transparency within the program.

The StikAx box claims that it will "free you from the shackles of the keyboard." If we are going to be freed from the shackles of a keyboard, we'd expect the functionality of a keyboard to be well translated to the StikAx controller, and it wasn't.

Overall, we would say that this software wasn't fully realized, and we don't think it's a good investment. We recommend that anyone interested in getting started in (re)mixing on a really tight budget instead consider Fruity Loops or
