The control center included in delivery is installed on a network computer - all that's required is a current version of Windows. Playback is only via the cd3o; locally, another media player must be used.

Auto configuration via an access point or router with DHCP server is simplest. If none of these is available, it goes without saying that the c300 also allows manual assignment of IP addresses.
