Microsoft XBox, Continued

The XBox Media Player is intuitive to use and thus easy to learn. First, you have to decide whether you want to play music, view images or run videos. Then the source is selected: DVD-ROM, the integrated hard drive or the network connection. It's easy to browse through the directory structure there.
Audio:
Creating playlists couldn't be easier. Winamp playlists are also accepted.
Images:
It's possible to create thumbnails and set up a slide show automatically.
Video:
Select the file and play. Various filters can be activated during playback, including soft focus and a filter that improves picture quality depending on the codec. Sadly, switching to another soundtrack does not work directly but is only possible via a menu item. Microsoft unfortunately forgot to integrate a key on its remote control that would make it easy to change language settings.
