The HP Photosmart 2710, and especially the Canon Pixma MP780, are the two multifunction devices that did best at printing documents that combine text and graphics, above all in black-and-white mode. At 7.5 ppm, the Pixma MP780 was even well ahead of the best inkjet printers. At the other end of the scale, the Lexmark P6250 did quite poorly in this area and showed the limits of its calculation power.
But the differences were less marked when we tested in color. Even though the ratio between the slowest and the fastest was 1 to 3, no device was able to attain 4 pages per minute.
