MSI's K7T266 Pro2-RU Motherboard

Adding to this week's collection of motherboards, MSI just told us about its new K7T266 Pro2-RU, which is based on the VIA Apollo KT266A chipset and supports AMD Athlon XP, Athlon, and Duron processors. The ATX form factor board has a total of three DIMM slots, supporting up to 3.0GB PC 1600/2100 DDR SDRAM along with 5 PCI slots, 1 CNR, and 1 AGP 4x port. Using the BIOS setup, you can tweak the FSB speeds and the CPU core voltage. The board also supports an optional D-Bracket hardware monitoring device, which has a combination of 4 LED light signals that are either green or red, representing 16 different troubleshooting functions during boot. The board supports MSI's Live Driver, which is supposed to help you to download and update the device drivers automatically, and MSI's Live BIOS, which examines the BIOS version automatically with the latest version available on the web, links to the site to download the latest version of BIOS and then updates it. Automatic driver and BIOS updates sound a little scary to me. If it works, don't fix it. Other goodies include support for 266MHz Front Side Bus, Ultra ATA 100, IDE RAID 0/1 (optional), Fuzzy Logic3 (an overclocking tool that automatically adjusts the CPU to its best condition in real time under the OS), STR (Suspend to RAM), USB 2.0 (optional), and STD (Suspend to Disk). I'm not sure when it will hit the streets or how much it will cost, but if you like the specs, keep an eye out for it.
