MSI to launch multi-processor U5/U6 servers in H2 2006
First-tier motherboard maker Micro-Star International (MSI) plans to start marketing 5U and 6U servers that support 4-8 processors, in the second half of this year, in addition to the 1U and 2U dual-processor servers it produces now, according to company sources. With the introduction of the new products, the company expects shipments of its servers to grow by 20-30% on-year in 2006, the sources indicated.
