MSI and Gigabyte see strong shipment growth in motherboards and graphics cards
Micro-Star International (MSI) and Gigabyte Technology both expect strong growth in their shipments of motherboards and graphics cards in 2007, company executives told shareholders at the annual shareholders meetings. MSI expects its combined shipments of motherboards and graphics cards to grow 30% on year to total 28 million units in 2007, whereas Gigabyte expects its shipments of motherboards and graphics cards to reach 18 million and 4.5 million units, respectively, said sources at the companies.
