MS to sell satellite, DSL at RadioShack

Microsoft Corp., the number three ISP in the US, is gunning for AOL by offering high-speed access through RadioShack Corp., the largest chain of US consumer-electronics stores. A DSL over phone lines component will be supplied through NorthPoint Communications Group Inc. and will cost $39.95 a month. The two-way satellite service will be, apparently, provided through Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. and will cost $59.95 a month. Currently, AOL has 24 million customers while Microsoft has only 3 million, but MSN execs say they can challenge AOL.
