MS struggles with bugs
Microsoft has tried and, thus far, failed to fix what has been called the most dangerous programming error that Microsoft has ever made in Windows. Last month, BugNet reported that Microsoft IE could interact with Microsoft Access 97 or 2000 through an Object tag in a Web page, e-mail, or news group posting that could cause Access to open, without prompting or the need to click on a link, a program capable of doing irreparable harm. Microsoft issued a patch, but the fix does not close the vulnerability.
