MS slashes Xbox prices in Europe
Despite claiming itself satisfied with Xbox sales last week, Microsoft has cut the price of the beast in Europe. Recent reports have suggested relatively dismal performance in mainland Europe, with stronger sales in the UK being perhaps of some small comfort to Microsoft. Well, more fool us then - the UK has just got a price cut to £199, while the recalcitrant mainlanders are getting Xbox for 299 Euros, which works out at more like £185.
