MS cookie cutter questioned
Though Netscape's browser has given users the power to reject so-called "third party cookies" for some time, Microsoft's cookie-control upgrade has been hailed by some as a privacy breakthrough. Others, however, are not so generous with praise. Some have even pointed out that the change in settings does nothing to control the way Microsoft uses cookies on its own Web sites.
