As a bonus, the MuVo TX even has a tiny microphone, so it can also be used as a standalone miniature Dictaphone. The quality may not be outstanding - you couldn't expect that - but it is adequate for recording and playing back memos. You can also transfer them to a computer.

The device is powered by a tiny AAA battery. The makers claim a lifetime of 14 hours in continuous playback. We found it was actually 10, a perfectly acceptable duration. So you won't be over-consuming batteries, which is a point to console the ecologists, and you'll be less likely to run out of steam!
