Mozilla releases final update for Firefox 1.5
If you are using Firefox 1.x, then Mozilla is sending you a friendly reminder that it is time to switch to version 2.x. The organization today released what it says is the final update for the first-generation browser.
The new version 1.5.012 brings the stability and security standard up to the features of version 2.x, but there will be no further updates to the browser, according to a press release distributed today.
Firefox users can upgrade to the latest browser version either through getfirefox.com or through an upgrade mechanism, which is included with the latest browser update.
