Scientists create kamikaze mice
Scientists have succeeding in creating a mouse that’s not afraid of cats.
Basically they snipped out the part in his brain that associates the scent of a cat with fearing for their lives.
Are we the only ones who don’t get it ?
They say the “end result” is that the mouse will walk brazenly up to the cat without showing any apprehension. Yeah, and then get eaten. There’s playing into your predator’s hands (or paws) and there’s putting yourself on a plate with pepper sauce, a side of chips and a sign that says, "Come and get me."
Having said this, the scientists did say that the cats are fed before the mice are allowed to approach them and so, are in no danger of becoming a a kitty snack. Still. . .
