Motorola Unveils Mini Global Positioning Product
Motorola Inc. launched Wednesday a dime-size receiver designed to add global positioning capabilities to cellular phones, personal digital assistants and other handheld devices. "FS Oncore, based on Motorola’s Instant Global Positioning System technology, is expected to be used in future portable electronics, including cameras that will time- and location-stamp photos, PDAs with maps that offer real-time navigation, and cellular phones that can find people, restaurants and businesses, Motorola said."
