Hector Ruiz, president and CEO of Advanced Micro Devices, is being sued by the company he once worked for. Ruiz, formerly president of Motorola's semiconductor division, signed a pledge last January, for cash, not to lure critical members of Motorola's senior management to AMD. Motorola now says that Ruiz violated that agreement when he hired away one of Motorola's senior finance officers.
