Motorola says it will be the first to introduce, before next year in Scandinavia, its General Packet Radio Services mobile phone. Nokia and Ericsson are not due out with their GPRS phones until next year. GPRS seems ready to supersede Wireless Application Protocol with better quality, speed and always-on status for users.
