More security breaches at Los Alamos
Los Alamos (NM) – Officials at the Los Alamos nuclear-weapons research lab are dealing with two more security breaches. A staffer had his work laptop stolen while vacationing in Ireland. The laptop contained classified material and hasn’t been recovered yet.
In another breach, a scientist fired off an email through the Internet that contained highly classified information. Workers at Los Alamos are supposed to send classified information through more secure Defense Department networks.
