Conclusion

This system is fast! It could go up against any other on the market. But for the hefty price it had better be fast. This is what it would cost for a full-sized desktop of this calibre from another system builder. The craftsmanship on the system we received was solid. The case is designed to take abuse while dissipating heat. There is plenty of space inside the case and the removable motherboard tray is a bonus. This makes the system easy to upgrade.

That being said, we have a few recommendations for Monarch. We don't think that the wrap on the outside of the case is what gamers are looking for. The places where it is attached in the back on our review unit were peeling away. In places where the thumb screws hold the case together, the wrap was twisted and wrinkled. This takes away from the showroom finish people are looking for in a system of this type.
