To another provocative Australian now, the, man who took on corporate giant Sony, over copyright issues, says he’s been vindicated by a ruling in the High Court.
Eddie Stevens was taken to court for his modified computer chips, which allowed customers to play software from overseas as well as copies of games on Sony PlayStations.
Sony claimed it was a breach of Australian copyright laws, but the High Court has overruled the multinational corporation.
