The manufacturer ECS is better known in the market for its extremely low-price motherboards. Worldwide, the PC Chips Group ranks just behind Asus, in second place. The main argument for an OEM purchaser is the magic price level. Elitegroup exclusively manufactures boards with the 865PE chipset, based on the given that customers buy fewer high-end products, such as the Intel 875P module.

The thing that catches the eye is the emphasis on color as regards memory slots, AGP and PCI interfaces. Whether it's necessary to go as overboard with color as PF1 does is a matter of personal taste. In addition, a Northbridge fan illuminated in blue attracts attention in the modded case.
