New on the market: 7.1 soundchip from VIA.
With the aid of the enclosed remote control, the board can be used as the basis for a multimedia PC, if required. In terms of sound, Chaintech relies on the latest VIA chip (VT1720 Envy 24PT) for up to 7.1 sound. There is an additional card for the proprietarily designed CNR slot, so that, in addition to an optical SP/DIF outlet, six additional audio channels are available. Two FireWire connections and two CD audio inputs complement the equipment package.

The remote control has an integrated mouse substitute to ensure easy control.
