Asus P4P800 Deluxe: The Only One With Activated PAT, Continued

From a design standpoint, the packaging of the Asus P4P800 Deluxe is somewhat more appealing than that of the P4C800 Deluxe.
Asus was one of the first manufacturers to also clear the PAT fast memory access for the 865PE chipset. This motherboard therefore secured one of the leading spots in the performance test, although it did not quite match the performance of the considerably more expensive P4C800. The explanation is that the FSB timing is somewhat less in the case of the P4P800.

View of the connections.
Our assessment in brief: similar to its big brother P4C800 Deluxe, yet Asus has made savings in the case of the P4P800. One sound panel for simultaneous inputs and outputs is lacking (in the case of 5.1 Audio) and, in addition, the volume of equipment is very sparse. For $150, this product is, however, more cost-effective than the overpriced P4C800 Deluxe.
