Mobo manufacturers speak out on i865 sales
Despite the positive response from the clone market during the first week of launch, motherboard sources said that overall buying sentiment for Intel's 865 (Springdale) series-based boards remains unclear, especially in view of the supply of 800MHz FSB (front-side bus) Pentium 4 processors and the presence of 865 chipsets in the gray market.
