Mobo makers experiencing tight supply of PIII-use PWM ICs
After suffering from a shortage of 478-pin sockets in the fourth quarter last year, motherboard makers said that supply of chip resistors and PWM (pulse width modulation) controller ICs has been tight since the end of the first quarter. To ensure stable component supply for smooth production and sales, some board makers have begun to evaluate new suppliers.
