Mitsubishi ponders Rambus deal
Following the Rambus deal with Oki Electric, a company spokesman has confirmed that Mitsubishi is also negotiating a similar licensing agreement for the controversial memory maker's SDRAM technology. Fujitsu Microelectronics may follow suit and some analysts are speculating that the Rambus strategy is to first wrap up agreements with smaller chip manufacturers before going after the top players.
