Mitac unveils its first smartphone in Taiwan
Mitac International launched its first smartphone, the Mio 8380, in the Taiwan market yesterday. Partnering with major local mobile phone carriers such as Far EasTone Telecommunications, Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) and others, Mitac will distribute the Mio 8380 through Synnex Technology International. Synnex is Taiwan's largest 3C channel retailer and is partially owned by Mitac.
