Microsoft will provide Thailand’s government a stripped-down version of its Windows XP operating system. The software will also be available to other governments, the company said. The "entry-level" XP is priced at around $20, which allowed Microsoft to participate Thailand’s ICT Ministry program without adjusting its regular pricing policy.
