Microsoft Simplifies Wi-Fi Access
Microsoft has improved the wireless-networking service in its Windows operating system, which it claims will make hot spots easier to deploy and manage. "WPS for Windows XP and Server 2003 offer a more secure standards-based platform for Wi-Fi network providers that can reduce customer acquisition and support costs," says Microsoft exec Jawad Khaki.
