Microsoft refutes Win2K bug claim
Coming just days before the launch of its vaunted Windows 2000 operating system, Microsoft executives are crying foul over Novell's claim that the OS contains a serious security hole.
Novell says the security problem affects Active Directory, a feature of Windows 2000 Server that allows technology administrators to more easily manage resources on a corporate network.
Microsoft officials vehemently denied that the security bug exists.
